Grand Rapids, MI – Grand Rapids Football Club announced today that Caleb Postlewait will return for the 2019 season. Postlewait, a Defender who can play several positions, has made 21 appearances for the Boys in Blue over the last two seasons and scored three goals. Over that same two season period, GRFC kept eleven clean sheets in large part to Postlewait’s leadership. Before joining GRFC, he played in the USL for Pittsburgh Riverhounds and four years at Butler University.
“I am beyond excited to be playing another summer in Grand Rapids” said Postlewait. “With how the team has grown since its inception, it is truly something special to be a part of and I’m thrilled the staff has asked me to return for the summer of 2019. After some disappointment with how things ended in the playoffs last year, I have full confidence that the players and staff will do everything they can to make 2019 a season to remember for our fans.”
GRFC Head Coach Lewis Robinson commented “We are thrilled that Caleb will be returning next year to GRFC and looking forward to seeing him continue to perform for us like he has in the past few years. Caleb is a player of a very high pedigree with a wealth of experience, and is a natural leader for our club. We are looking forward to getting him back on the field this spring.”
