College Players Update For GRFC Men

A quick recap of how the Fall is going for several GRFC players in the college ranks:

Peter Brown – The Junior Defender has made three appearances for the Michigan Wolverines as they have started 3-0-1 and begin Big Ten play this week.

Anthony Bowie – The Sophomore Forward has started all four matches for the undefeated Broncos (3-0-1) and scored his first goal of the season against the University of Cincinnati on Monday.

Cam Cavanagh – The Senior Midfielder has started both of Davenport’s games (1-1) this Fall as the Panthers play their first season in NCAA Division 2 and the GLIAC.

Dary Dewalt – The Senior Goalkeeper started and played all 110 minutes in the only game Cornerstone has played so far this season, a 1-1 draw with nationally ranked Olivet Nazerene.

Scott Doney – The towering Senior Forward is off to a blistering start for his new school Midwestern State.  He has started both matches and scored three times.

Nate Hoover – The Junior Midfielder has started three of the Broncos four matches and scored a goal in the season opener against LIU-Brooklyn.

Alex Mendez – The Sophomore Forward has played in four of the five matches Aquinas has  played and recorded four goals already, including a brace against Alma on Tuesday.

Kosti Moni – The Junior Midfielder has started all four matches at Western Michigan and has recorded a goal and an assist during their 3-0-1 start.

Aaron Orban – The Senior Goalkeeper has started both matches (1-1) for the Panthers as Davenport starts their first season in Division 2.

Lucas Rosendall – The Sophomore Midfielder has made three appearances for the Wolverines and started two of those matches, recording an assist in the game against Valparaiso.

Trent Vegter – The Junior Defender has started both games for Calvin as they are off to an undefeated start (2-0) in this young season.
