England International Becomes 2nd Women’s Signing

England International Joins GRFC Women

Grand Rapids Football Club is proud to announce our 2nd signing for the Women’s United Women’s Soccer team.  Help us welcome Paige Eli to the squad!

Eli, a Forward who will wear number 7, is originally from Huddersfield, England and spent four years at Davenport University, garnering All-American awards three times.  She represented England at the U15, U17, and U19 levels before she came over to the States as well.

“It is an honor to be invited to play for GRFC women’s team along with other very talented players” said Eli.   “This is huge stepping stone for women in soccer throughout West Michigan and great addition to sports in the local community. I am very excited for this opportunity and looking forward to returning to the soccer field during the summer!”

GRFC Women’s Head Coach Lewis Robinson on the signing: ““Paige is a fantastic addition for our exciting first year roster. She has experience at the highest level representing her country, and brings great leadership skills from her current role as a collegiate coach. She is a real difference maker, can play a number of attacking positions, and we are thrilled to have her with us.”
