Grand Rapids FC Adds 3rd Goalkeeper to line-up

Grand Rapids Football Club is proud to announce our latest player signing. Please help us welcome Dary Dewalt!

Dewalt, a Goalkeeper who will wear number 34, is currently a Junior at Cornerstone University. He transferred to the Golden Eagles program from the University of Kentucky and competed in High School at Shattuck-St. Mary’s in Minnesota where they were ranked #2 in the country.

“I’m excited to be a part of things here in this city and with Grand Rapids FC” said Dewalt. “It really is One City, One Club. The coaching staff is top of the line here and I am looking forward to learning from them and excelling as a player. They have a great fan base to play in front of and they bring a lot of energy to the games. It’s a privilege and honor to play in front of fans that are as passionate about the team as they are. I can’t wait to get things rolling with the great group of guys we have and contribute out on the field, it’s going to be an exciting year”.

GRFC President Matt Roberts commented “We are very excited to have Dary join us for the 2016 season as he is a very athletic goalkeeper who reads the game very well. He has played at the top levels of the youth and college ranks and we are very fortunate that he has chosen to stay here during the summer to compete for GRFC. With Noah, Kyle, and Dary we now feel we have three goalkeepers we can rely on in any game we play this summer”.
