Grand Rapids FC Adds a Midfielder to 2016 Squad

Grand Rapids Football Club is proud to announce another player who has signed on for the 2016 NPSL season. Please help us welcome Tarwo Konbloa!

Konbloa, who is a Midfielder and will wear number 2, played high school at East Kentwood and collegiately at Hope College. He also played the 2015 season with Independent Men’s side Muskegon Risers.

“I am excited to play for GRFC. I was born in Liberia and moved to Ivory Coast where we played street soccer growing up” said Konbloa. “To be a part of a team with such a great fan group and talented squad is very exciting”.

GRFC President Matt Roberts on the Konbloa signing: “We are excited to have Tarwo join us for the 2016 season. He has had a very successful career and we think he still has another level to get to. He works very hard for the team and can change a game with his athleticism. We couldn’t be happier that he has chosen to play with GRFC in 2016”.
