Grand Rapids FC is excited to announce our 24th player signing for the 2015 season Ahmad Bah

Bah, a Forward who will wear number 12, is originally from Minnesota and has several years of NPSL experience.

Ahmad played for Osseo High School, won a State Championship, and was twice named to the Minnesota All-State 1st Team. He also played for Minnesota Thunder Elite. …

After High School he attended Barton County CC where he led the team to a National Tournament berth his Freshman year. During that campaign he was named to the All-Conference, All-Region, and All-Tournament teams. He then transferred and competed at the NCAA D1 level at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

At the NPSL level, Bah has played two years for the Minnesota TwinStars and spent the 2014 summer playing for the Tampa Marauders in Florida.

Founder Matt Roberts commented “Ahmad is an exciting player who wasn’t on our radar until very near the open tryout. The coaching staff loved his technical ability and his movement off the ball. We think that Ahmad will have a big summer for GRFC”.

You can see Ahmad in action this Sunday as GRFC scrimmages GVSU at 6pm at the Allendale Campus.
