Sullivan Returns For 2017!
Grand Rapids, MI – Grand Rapids Football Club announced today that Midfielder Noble Sullivan will return for the 2017 National Premier Soccer League season.
Sullivan, a wildly popular player for the Boys in Blue, will continue to wear his number 14. He is the all-time leading goal scorer for GRFC with 9 goals in 19 appearances including the only goal in our 1-0 win against Indy 11 in the playoffs.
“Playing for GRFC is special” said Sullivan. “Along with the women’s team, we hope to bring an exciting and dynamic brand of soccer to West Michigan. From a player’s perspective, to score and to win in front of thousands of supporters is truly a gift. We will continue to work hard in order to maintain the success we’ve shared these past two years”.
GRFC President Matt Roberts commented “We couldn’t be more thrilled that Noble is coming back for 2017. He is a player that all the lads in the dressing room look to for leadership and has scored some of the biggest goals in our history. We know he will be a huge piece of the puzzle as we prepare for the upcoming season and we are so happy he is able to play another season”.
