GRFC Signs New Zealand International Daniel Mulholland

Grand Rapids, MI – Grand Rapids Football Club announced this morning the addition of winger Daniel Mulholland to the 2019 National Premier Soccer League squad.

Mulholland, who will turn 22 in April, has plenty of international experience both in the Pacific and in Spain.  He played for Birkenhead FC during the 2016 season, winning the National Championship and Chatham Cup.  In 2017, he moved to Spain to play for CD Almunecar City, winning promotion during that campaign.  He returned to New Zealand during 2018, and helped his home-town club Team Wellington win the Oceanic Champions League and qualify for the Club World Cup.

“I am extremely happy to be signing with GRFC for the 2019 season” said Mulholland.  “The club has a great following and tremendous support and I can’t wait to get involved and contribute to the team’s success.”

GRFC Head Coach Lewis Robinson commented “Daniel will bring an exciting new element to our attack this summer as a winger and we are looking forward to having him with us.  He brings a lot of international experience and a proven track record in scoring and creating goals.”
