Bowie, 20, enjoyed a breakthrough season with GRFC in 2017, tying for the club lead with five goals in 12 competitive appearances. The 5-foot-10, 175-pound forward garnered Man of the Match honors after scoring the game-winning goal on May 26 in a 1-0 win versus Michigan Stars FC.
A native of Grand Rapids, Bowie originally joined GRFC in 2016 and appeared in two matches during his maiden NPSL campaign. He made his debut as a substitute in a 5-2 victory against Detroit City FC.
Bowie recently finished his sophomore season at Western Michigan University, recording two goals and an assist in 21 appearances while earning a place on the MAC All-Tournament Team. In addition to his on-field duties, Bowie was named a MAC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete and was selected to the Academic All-MAC Team as the only eligible student-athlete with a 4.0 grade point average. In two seasons with the Broncos, Bowie has accumulated four goals and three assists in 35 appearances.
Prior to his collegiate career, Bowie earned four varsity letters at Forest Hills Central High School from 2012-15, tallying 42 goals and 26 assists during his senior year. In his final season with the Rangers, Bowie was named Michigan Mr. Soccer and a NSCAA All-American while leading the team to a 23-0-3 record and a MHSAA Division I state championship.
