Adam Knight brings USL2 experience to the 2021 GRFC roster

Grand Rapids, Mi – Adam Knight, Midfielder, signs to the 2021 GRFC roster.  Knight was a member of the 2016 NAIA National Championship team at Hastings College, and earned GPAC All-Conference honors.  After his graduation, he played briefly in England, Span and Croatia.  Knight will bring USL2 experience to the GRFC roster.  He played for three years in the league with the St. Louis Lions and Des Moines Menace.  Currently, he is the Graduate Assistant Coach for McKendree University, IL. 

Knight is excited to join us here in Grand Rapids and meet the fans.  “I’ve known about GRFC ever since they were founded. Everyone I’ve spoken to has only good words to say about the club and the city. I am buzzing to be a part of its first full season in USL2.”

“Adam is a pacey attacking player who has a good tenure of experience in USL2.” said Head Coach, Stu Collins. “He is a great athlete with a top attitude who has a lot to offer this squad in a variety of roles. I think they fans will enjoy watching Adam and will be excited by his attributes and style of play.”
