Grand Rapids, MI – Grand Rapids Football Club is pleased to announce that Dan Bulley has been named as an Assistant Coach for the 2020 USL League Two season.
Bulley, who made three appearances as a player for GRFC in 2019, is the first addition to Head Coach James Gilpin’s staff. Bulley played collegiately at the University of Buffalo, and was an assistant coach with Western Michigan for three seasons and the head coach of Olivet College for three seasons. He currently runs Dan Bulley Soccer School and is the head coach at Jackson College in Kalamazoo.
“I am delighted to be a part of the staff ahead of what will be an exciting season for the club and it’s supporters” said Bulley. “Moving to a new league and having a new staff will be a big challenge but we are excited to take it head on and we know the players and staff will represent the club the right way.”
Head Coach James Gilpin on Bulley joining the staff for 2020: “Dan is someone who has played at every level of the game and will bring a lot to the team. He has vast experience coaching in college soccer and exhibits excellent leadership qualities. His enthusiasm for the club, and our long term vision, made him the perfect fit for the role and I’m sure the boys will enjoy working with him.”
