Grand Rapids, MI – Grand Rapids Football Club announced this morning that Midfielder Eric Conerty has signed on for the 2020 USL League Two season.
A Junior at Western Michigan, Conerty made eleven appearances for the Boys in Blue during the 2019 campaign, scoring three goals from his creative midfield role. During the Fall season for the Broncos, he made sixteen appearances and scored five goals. The Grand Rapids native played his prep soccer at Forest Hills Central, where he scored 40 goals during his senior season and was named United Soccer Coaches First Team All-American.
“Playing for GRFC is always a privilege” said Conerty. “The club took a huge step forward by joining USL League Two and I’m excited to be a part of something that continues to grow more and more every year.”
