Grand Rapids, MI – Grand Rapids Football Club announced this morning the return of Grace and Jane Labadie for the 2019 United Womens Soccer season.
Grace, a senior Midfielder at Western Michigan, has appeared in 38 games for the Broncos over the last two seasons and registered 10 goals and 12 assists during that time. With the Ladies in Blue, she has made 19 appearances the past two campaigns, scoring 7 goals and winning the Midwest Championship both seasons. She also played in the 2017 National Championship game, helping secure the club’s first league championship.
Jane, a senior Defender at Western Michigan, has appeared in 43 matches for the Broncos over the past three seasons, leading the back line to 7 clean sheets in 2018. For GRFC Women, she has appeared 5 times over the first two seasons.
“We are very excited to join GRFC once again this summer” said the sisters. “This team has another great opportunity to compete for a conference title as well as a national championship, and we will work hard to make our great fans proud.”

GRFC Women return to Grandville on Friday, May 24th as the Midwest champions host Indiana Union at 7:00pm. Additional home dates include June 7th, June 8th, June 21st, and June 30th. The club will also compete in the first ever Women’s Milk Cup with competition dates being announced at a later time.
