GRFC Announces Aquinas College As 2019 Partner

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Grand Rapids Football Club is proud to announce that Aquinas College has become the official college partner of GRFC.

As a part of the partnership, Aquinas College is the title sponsor of our first FREE College Night, happening this Saturday at Houseman Field.  All college students, faculty, and staff will get in FREE with a valid ID.  Aquinas will also house 14 players from around the world this summer, allowing the Boys and Girls in Blue to widen their recruiting scope to a worldwide scale, with players from 10 different countries coming in to represent Grand Rapids during the 2019 campaigns.

“This partnership is a great way of telling a broad audience about who Aquinas College is and what we do” said Marissa Sura, Vice President of Marketing and Communications.  “We are impressed at the community that GRFC has built in West Michigan; it parallels the enthusiasm and support of the community at Aquinas College. It’s a great match that helps Aquinas College extend its reach throughout the region, and we are looking forward to an exciting season.”

GRFC President Matt Roberts commented “We are very excited to have Aquinas College on board as a partner this summer.  They have been a top liberal arts college in the country for years now, and with this partnership it allows GRFC to house more players for the summer.  As a proud graduate of AQ, I am proud to see the school branching out and looking for more ways to get involved in the community.”
