GRFC announces return of goalkeeper Joe White

Grand Rapids, Mi – Grand Rapids FC is excited to ink the return of goalkeeper Joe White to the 2021 roster.  This is White’s third season with GRFC, and he is looking forward to the growth within the club.  “I’m very excited to be back playing for GRFC in front of the Grand Army. I think the new direction the club is taking with the new league and coaching staff is going to be great. Looking forward to seeing the boys again, and meeting the new guys.”

White has been active on the GRFC roster for three years.  Before his time in Grand Rapids, he attended Hastings College, where he and his team won a national championship, and he earned two-time All-American status.  GRFC Head Coach Stuart Collins tells us, “Joe adds so much to our group in terms of experience and quality.  He has played at this level and has won at this level. He has been a big part of successful teams in his career and this going to be hugely important. Above all else, he is a very good goalkeeper and having a strong goalkeeping core is vital to us doing the things we hope to do this summer.”

Catch Joe and the rest of the Boys in Blue this May!
