GRFC signs Kalamazoo & WMU standout Max Keenan

Grand Rapids, Mi –  GRFC announces Max Keenan to the 2021 lineup.  Keenan was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan where he played for Kalamazoo Kingdom.  After graduating from Hackett Catholic Prep, he continued his academic and soccer career at Western Michigan University, where he is currently a sophomore.  Like many of his teammates, the fans are a large part of what attracted him to Grand Rapids FC.   “I am extremely excited for this opportunity to play for GRFC. I have heard so much about the fan base and culture at this football club and I can’t wait to be part of it!”

Over the first couple weeks of training, Head Coach Stuart Collins has observed what Keenan will bring to the 2021 squad.  “Max is a great young man with a very good attitude.  He has good pace and quality of delivery from wide areas. Max has impressed in training so far and he can have an impact in games this summer.”

GRFC has one more scrimmage Thursday before kicking off the official season this Sunday.  Visit for tickets and more information.
