GRFC signs WMU standout Dan Nimick

Grand Rapids, Mi – GRFC is excited to announce Dan Nimick to the 2021 roster.  Growing up in Harrogate, England, Nimick played for Leeds Academy.  In 2019, he moved to the United States to attend Western Michigan University and play soccer.  He was named to the All-MAC team in 2019, and he is currently a sophomore.  “This is my first season here with GRFC, so I’m excited to get started with the lads and put some good results together this summer.”

Head Coach Stuart Collins describes what he expects Nimick to bring to the GRFC squad this season.  “We are very excited about Dan. He is an exceptional player in all aspects. Technically fantastic, versatile and powerful. I think he will be a major part of our team this summer and will have a massive role to play. He will be a fan favorite for sure!”

Catch the action of Nimick and the rest of the 2021 GRFC players on May 16 for the home opener at the Midwest United FC Complex.
