GRFC welcomes back James DeCosemo for another season

Grand Rapids, Mi – Grand Rapids FC has secured yet another offensive threat in James DeCosemo and is looking forward to his return. Decosemo, a former Newcastle United Academy player, bolsters a Grand Rapids FC attack that has both speed and skill throughout. He attended Northwood University where he led the team in goals en route to an NCAA Sweet 16 appearance. He then went on to captain a Lansing United side that experienced plenty of success as well. DeCosemo looks to continue his winning ways saying, “I can’t wait to get back with the lads and help bring trophies back to Grand Rapids.”

Head coach, Stu Collins calls the signing, “Another very quality addition to the squad.” Collins continued, “I really appreciate the way Cos conducts himself. His experience in the game will be a huge benefit to us. He can operate in a variety of roles and has the ability to lead the line or operate from deep.”

DeCosemo echoed previous shoutouts to the Grand Rapids FC fan base saying, “I am really excited to represent GRFC and its fans, and to play in front of The Grand Army again.”
