Grand Rapids Football Club has announced the addition of three goalkeepers to the Women’s roster for the 2017 season. In addition to Reilley Ott, the club has included Maddie Perrin, Vanessa Nigg, and Gabby Klemp in the United Women’s Soccer roster.
Perrin, originally from Mount Pleasant and a Freshman at Toledo University, will wear number 0.
“I’m always looking for opportunities to grow. Grand Rapids F.C is just another amazing chance to improve my skills and develop further as a player. I can’t wait to be a part of such a high quality team!”
Nigg, originally from Okemos and will wear number 30, is a Sophomore at DePaul University.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to train with GRFC’s amazing coaching staff, and to play along side some of the top players in West Michigan. I hope to not only continue to develop as a player this summer but to also bring my energy and competitive edge to the program. With this being said, I am looking forward to what this talented group of women will accomplish this summer!”
Klemp, originally from Muskegon and will wear number 99, is currently a Junior at Chicago State.
“After playing in Chicago for the past 3 years, I’m excited to come back home and play locally. Soccer has made huge strides in the community and I’m grateful to be able to be a part of such a great organize and look forward to growing the GRFC Brand.”
