Lewis Robinson joins as new Associate Head Coach for Grand Rapids FC

Grand Rapids Football Club is proud to announce that Lewis Robinson has joined the coaching staff as the Associate Head Coach.

12119059_1628935097358157_435970959128389341_nRobinson, who is the Director of Coaching for Midwest United FC and hails from Newcastle England, will join Coach Moni’s staff for the 2016 season. He holds a USSF “A” license, an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, and has an MBA in Management from Davenport University. He is also on staff with the US Soccer Federation as a coach for the Michigan Training Centers.

“I am very excited and proud to be given this opportunity to join the GRFC coaching staff. The club has already accomplished so much in West Michigan in the inaugural season and I hope to be able to help continue to push GRFC to become a national power in the NPSL. The club’s vision is very exciting and with a fantastic support group of fans, players, and staff we are really looking forward to start working toward the 2016 season”.

GRFC president Matt Roberts commented “Lewis a top coach and we couldn’t be more excited to add him to the staff. He has a proven track record of developing teams at every level and he will help us greatly as we navigate through our first NPSL season next summer”.
