Grand Rapids, MI – Grand Rapids Football Club is proud to announce that Cam Cavanagh will return for the 2018 NPSL season.
Cavanagh, who was voted the 2017 Midfielder of the Year, just finished up his senior season at Davenport University. The Panthers made a late season run and brought home the GLIAC Tournament Championship during their first season competing at the NCAA D2 level. During the 2017 GRFC campaign, he made 15 appearances for the Boys in Blue, leading the team in that category.
“I’m very excited to be back playing for Grand Rapids FC next summer” said Cavanagh. “Last season we weren’t able to achieve the goals we set out to accomplish, and I will do everything I can to make 2018 a championship year for Grand Rapids”.
GRFC Head Coach Lewis Robinson commented “Cam had a great year with us in 2017 and we are very excited to bring him back for 2018. He is a very important part of our team and will play a big leadership role in our midfield again this season”.
