Grand Rapids, Mi – GRFC is excited to welcome Henrik Berg to the 2021 roster. Berg moved to the United States from Asa, Sweden in 2017. He played two seasons with Seton Hill University before transferring to Nova Southeastern University in 2019.
“Henrik is a very talented player with a good eye for goal and a lot of guile in the final third,” Head Coach Stuart Collins tells us. “He is a versatile attacking player that can play in multiple systems and in multiple roles, something that is very important in the modern game. Another good character who conducts himself brilliantly. Looking forward to having him with us.”
Like many of his fellow teammates who are new to GRFC, Berg has heard great things about the fan base. “I’m extremely excited to finally play football again. I’ve heard amazing things about our supporters and I look forward to winning games in front of them!”
Grand Rapids FC opens at home May 16 vs. Ft. Wayne.
