Uniform Unveiling, Spring Break Camp, & More!

Grand Rapids, MI – Grand Rapids Football Club has announced its Men’s and Womens schedule for the 2019 NPSL and UWS seasons, but there is plenty more going on before GRFC kicks off the fifth season on the Mens side and third for the Women.

Uniform Unveiling

Grand Rapids FC will unveil their 2019 Home, Away, Third, and Goalkeeper Uniforms on Saturday, April 6th in the Centennial Room at Founders Brewing Company.  Join us for this annual event and get a look at the 2019 kits, purchase them at a huge discount, and talk to the staff and players as they prepare for the season.  Come enjoy great Founders beer and help us celebrate the start of the campaign!

Spring Break Camp

It’s back!  Our Spring Break camp returns for youth players who want to improve their skills over Spring Break here in GR.  The camp will be held April 1st-3rd at Grandville High School from 5:30-7:00pm.  Join head coach Lewis Robinson and several GRFC players and get some touches in over the break!  To register, click this link.

Two Cup Competitions in 2019

We are proud to announce we will be participating in the US Amateur Cup this year.  The competition dates back to 1923 and the current holders are the Milwaukee Bavarians.  This cup competition sees the best of the best in the Amateur game compete to win the right to play the European Amateur champion in 2020.  The winner also gets direct qualification to the US Open Cup and the Hank Steinbrecher Cup in 2020.  We will also be competing in the Michigan Milk Cup on both the Mens and Womens sides, with the Boys in Blue hosting the winner of AAFC Lumberjacks and Lake St. Clair in the quarter finals on May 11th and the Girls in Blue traveling to take on WPSL side Motor City FC in a quarter final match on Sunday, May 19th.

Friendlies Announced for Men

GRFC has announced the best Friendlies slate in club history, with GRFC hosting Livonia City FC on May 4th, Flint City Bucks on May 8th, and a new Grand Rapids derby with BiH GR on July 24th.  In addition to NPSL, Amateur Cup, and Milk Cup games, you now have the chance to see GRFC play at least 12 times this summer!  It is going to be a fantastic fifth season for the Men, so get your season tickets today!

Womens Games Free For All Youth

The Club announced last week that all kids 14 and younger will get free admission to all Womens games!  Bring your young players out for a great family atmosphere and see the back-to-back Midwest UWS Champions try to bring another trophy home #forthecity!
